Ambiance – It has a small boutique feeling, from swings at the bar, colorful walls, small patio seating, every seat seems important. Food – the flavors on the chicken lettuce wrap were both interesting and savory. Bell peppers, fresh herb and mint, sweet and spicy jelly remoulade, wrapped in lettuce. My favorite bar and restaurant on Harbor Island.
We tried out the new and improved Thai’d restaurant… everything on the menu was authentic in taste… the flavors from each dish popped. I especially loved the Drunken noodles with shrimp and also the lobster rolls. The lobster dish for my main was great and the portion size was delightful.
We felt the restaurant at Runaway consistently had the best food of all the resort restaurants that we tried. Runaway HilI Inn really helps you slip into the islands’s relaxing pace as soon as you arrive! Highly recommend this place.
